Paulius Labanauskis
Principal Engineer & Technical Architect
How I Work
I build and fix fintech and regulated-platform systems: greenfield architecture, event-sourced transaction engines, and performance turnarounds on platforms already in production. I take this on as an independent consultant or embedded in a team.
About
Technical architect with 15+ years building financial infrastructure: banking, banking-as-a-service, and digital assets. I’ve built regulated platforms from scratch twice and led an emergency banking migration in four weeks with zero customer disruption. One weekend I traced a Datomic bottleneck by reading its internals. API p95 went from 60-second timeouts to 200ms. I work in Clojure and C#/.NET, both in production. I build small teams that ship production systems without heavy process.
Currently
Building an EU-regulated institutional digital asset platform: event-sourced transaction engine, multi-custody, multi-bank, full compliance stack.
